I hope things are going well with you and your Rugby Club this year. I must apologise for not getting in touch earlier. I wanted to let you know how much the boys enjoyed themselves and we were extatic to have done so well. The buzz in the club about the tour has been amazing. It would be true to say anyone who didn't make it wished they had.

As always attending the Flanders Open was one of life's great pleasures! Every year we are amazed by the scale of the organisation and the smoothness with which the Tournament runs. It just seems to be getting better and better. We only wish we were 20 years younger as playing is becoming more and more difficult. Maybe we should just cut back on the partying. No, stupid idea! We have players who have travelled all round the world competing but we all feel that the Flanders Open is undoubtedly the finest tournament in the world. Many thanks to you, Kris and all those who made us feel so welcome as usual. The "walking dinner" was a great success and we would love to be invited to it again if possible please. We are already saving up for our bandages, plasters and crutches for next year. We now have a chance to win a trophy - the best dressed team. (I can't understand how we didn't win this year with our tasteful, topical shirts!)

Eens te meer is het niet alleen een aangename maar een bewonderenswaardige vaststelling dat u steeds weer de hoge toppen scheert van professionele organisatie binnen een bij uitstek zuivere amateursport.
Ik heb zelf aardig wat ervaring in de organisatie van nationale en internationale tornooien in een andere sportfederatie en het beste daar ooit geproduceerd komt nog niet aan de enkels van wat jullie neerzetten in Dendermonde.
Nogmaals dank en in elk geval van harte gefeliciteerd!
