I would like to use this opportunity to thank you and the Dendermonde rugby club for your excellent organization of this year's tournament. It was a great experience for the Moscow Dragons, which we all very much enjoyed.
Very good organisation! We participated in many tournaments in Eastern Europe in the past and this was by far the best-organised tournament to date.
We would like to return to the tournament next year, and would most likely also bring a veterans side to the tournament.

I think the Food Court was a fantastic idea, keeping all the food together with the seating etc. Variety of food was brilliant and a lot healthier than last year! The toilets on site nearer the tents were useful also! I can honestly say, nothing to improve on here? You done a fab job!
It was a damn good tournament! Well done to all involved!

Once again you exceeded all our expectations and the event goes from strength to strength.

Thanks for a great tournament once again Gert. You once again have done Dendermonde rugby club proud, and a special thanks goes to the winning team who donated their winnings to the family of the fireman who died it just goes to show what a close knit friendship rugby players have and how they look after their own.
The overall tournament was great couldn't fault the organisation of anything else keep up the good work.

This was our second year and my recollections of what a fantastic tournament it was were surpassed by our experience in 2008. I have been to tournaments all over the world and this is the best one.
The commitment and energy of every volunteer makes this the success it is and they should all be highly commended, plus I think their enthusiasm rubs-off on all the players and makes them have a fantastic time and want to come back. The referees are also to be thanked for facilitating safe but fun rugby in all the games.
We have every intention of coming back in 2009 and we will see if we can also bring a team for the main cup competition.

Nous sommes bien rentrés hier chez nous. Un peu abîmés, mais riches d'une expérience exceptionnelle.
Félicitations pour l'organisation impressionnante. Vous avez réussi un vrai exploit. C'est de gens comme toi dont le rugby a besoin.
Pour nous, cette premi è re expérience de rugby à dix, a été assez dure. D'un coté le tr è s bon niveau des équipes de vétérans que nous avons affrontés et d'un autre coté le fait que nous on débutait à dix, ont fait que nos résultats dans la compétition ne soient pas comme on les aurait souhaités.
Peut-être qu'une autre fois nous allons faire mieux.

Gert, on behalf of Forrester could I please pass on my thanks for a wonderful weekend of Rugby. As usual we all felt that everyone at Dendermonde put in a great effort to make sure the tournament ran like clockwork.
We would also like to pass on our thanks to the local football team for allowing us to use the football pitches as we are aware that without their co-operation the tournament would not be as successful.
Odds are that you'll be seeing a lot more of us in the future!

We were very impressed with the tournament - Definitely the best Vets event we have been to so far (including Copenhagen, Amsterdam, several in the UK). Highlights were:
1) Playing standard was very good, but not too tough (last year we went to Amsterdam and came up against professional teams.
2) Facilities at the tournament were very good in comparison to other events we have been to in the past
3) Integration with the main event and other teams was good i.e. the Vets weren't farmed out to a far corner of the event
4) The care and attention of the organisers to our requests was very impressive and appreciated
The organisation was very good and officials very helpful.
We do have an invite to an event in Ireland next year but if that doesn't happen the Flanders event will top our list. We may also try and interest our younger clubmates in entering a team.

Een aantal vrienden van ons zijn naar het tornooi gekomen en allen prijsden de organisatie van dergelijk mega-evenement. En terecht. Jullie creëren iets unieks in de rugbywereld.
Na de reportage op TV Oost, lovende sms'jes ontvangen van familie en vrienden.
Ik weet, dat deze mail ook naar tientallen andere medewerkers gestuurd moet worden, maar ik denk dat vooral jullie het uithangbord zijn van de FOR.
Laat me stellen, dat ik fier ben om lid te zijn van de Dendermondse Rugby Club...

I would like to thank you all for a fantastic weekend of rugby and everything that goes with it. I really had a good time and I think we referees could not have been better looked after. The arrangements made for us and the hospitality we received were wonderful.
I've been to Belgium three times before, but this was my first rugby in Belgium and I will always have very happy memories of the Dendermonde 10s. I hope I have the honour of attending again some time.
Well done to all for all the hard work that went in to putting the tournament together and I hope next year is equally successful - if not even better.

I was at this year's tournament with Westcliffe rugby club. I was asked last minute if i could go with them as they were short on numbers. I took 3 players with me and we thought it was the best tournament we had been to and we decided that we would try and enter our own team next year.
Bringing a full coach of people to make it a proper end of season tour with partners and supporters.
Our team is called WASTED TALENT. We look forward to hopefully being accepted.
